Synopsis
In the year 3127, the mighty Terran Empire crumbles after a palace coup. Captain Mara Kaine must rally fractured legions and march them through hostile star systems to the ancient capital for one final stand. Along the blood-soaked journey she confronts mutiny, alien alliances, and the ghosts of imperial sins. As supply lines collapse and propaganda from the new regime floods the comms, Kaine's troops rediscover what it means to fight for something larger than themselves. Battles rage across frozen moons and burning megacities while moral lines blur between liberation and conquest. The march becomes legend: soldiers singing the old anthem as they charge into certain death, proving that empires live or die by the will of those who refuse to kneel.
The story
Kaine receives the dying emperor's final order and assembles the remnants of the 7th Legion aboard a crippled dreadnought. A brutal ambush by rival factions forces the first desperate march into deep space.
Internal betrayals, supply shortages, and devastating losses erode morale as the legion crosses the Red Veil nebula; Kaine must execute her own mentor and forge uneasy pacts with former enemies.

CAPTAIN MARA KAINE (30s, scarred face, unyielding eyes) marches at the front, banner of the broken sun snapping in the wind. SGT. VARGO stumbles. KAINE grabs his arm without breaking stride. KAINE On your feet, Iron. Empire doesn't rest. VARGO (coughing blood) Empire's dead, Captain. KAINE Then we march for its ghost. A distant explosion lights the horizon. The troops begin to sing the old anthem, voices raw and defiant as they disappear into the white void.
