Synopsis
When the struggling Kim family lands coveted jobs inside the gleaming Tower, they think they've finally escaped poverty. But the building's perfect residents are hosts to ancient parasites that feed on envy and blood. As the infestation spreads through perfect smiles and stolen lives, the Kims must choose between becoming the monsters upstairs or dying in the basement. The parasites don't just mimic—they improve, erasing flaws and amplifying cruelty until the elite become unstoppable predators. Tensions explode when the youngest Kim begins mutating, forcing the family into a brutal war across marble lobbies and penthouse suites. In the end, survival means becoming the very thing they hate, and the building's lights never go out on the feast.
The story
The Kims infiltrate the Tower with fake credentials and begin replacing staff. They notice residents acting strangely perfect. A late-night encounter reveals the first parasite bursting from its host.
The family uncovers the building-wide infestation and fights to contain it while hiding their own changes. Betrayals multiply as parasites jump hosts and the Kims start losing themselves to the hunger.
All-out war engulfs the Tower. The surviving Kims confront the queen parasite in the penthouse, ending with a devastating choice that blurs who the real monsters are.

INT. TOWER LOBBY - NIGHT Rain slicks the marble. JI-WOO KIM (28) in a borrowed blazer adjusts her name tag. The doors glide open. MR. PARK steps out, smiling too wide. MR. PARK You're early. We like that. He shakes her hand. Something wet pulses under his cuff. Ji-Woo flinches. Park laughs it off. MR. PARK Just the new security system. Behind him, a resident's reflection in the elevator doors lags half a second too long. Ji-Woo stares. The reflection smiles first.
Why now
