Synopsis
In a dimly lit Tokyo apartment, reclusive screenwriter Haru Sato hunches over his laptop, feverishly revising a thriller about a man who can alter fate. With each deleted line and new scene, reality ripples: his estranged wife reappears then vanishes, his best friend turns hostile, and fragments of his childhood rewrite themselves. As Haru races to craft the perfect ending, the story begins to fight back, threatening to erase him entirely. Haru’s revisions grow more frantic, pulling in his sharp-tongued editor and a mysterious actress who seems to know every draft before he types it. The line between script and life dissolves in a whirlwind of shifting apartments, repeated deaths, and looping conversations. With the final act looming, Haru must decide whether to finish the story that could save him or let it consume everything he has left.
The story
Haru begins rewriting his stalled screenplay and notices small real-world changes after each save; his ex-wife suddenly returns with altered memories.
The revisions escalate into dangerous territory as Haru’s relationships fracture and his past is rewritten against his will; allies become threats while the story itself starts resisting his control.

HARU One more change. Just one. He deletes the sentence and types: "She returns, changed." The lights flicker. Behind him, a PHOTO of his empty apartment now shows a WOMAN'S COAT on the chair. Haru turns. The coat is gone. He types faster. HARU (into screen) Stay this time. A key turns in the lock. The door creaks open.
